Maybe instead of asking an easy question and claiming that many will fail, then can do the opposite: ask a hard question but say "many can answer this, but can you?". Give people anxiety and self-doubt.

Here is a small but very annoying bug in Microsoft PowerPoint. When you switch windows and then come back, the blinking cursor shows at a different place than it actually is.
