WSR broke the feudal class ethnic baron logic that was emblematic of post colonial Kenya, ushering a pathway for a new Republic to emerge. How they thought that they could abandon project and take Kenya back to what they broke is bewildering. #June25thNationalHoliday

We are now learning, in real time, that theory is made through praxis. The "what's next" is revealed through struggle on the streets, not in mainstream media studios. That's what Fanon said, and that's what Gen Z's are doing: theorizing through praxis.
There's a question that's been weaponised to no end during the past few weeks. "What next?" The question, though in its own right useful, is being asked in intellectually dishonest and actively derisive ways meant to paint the protests as rudderless. #RutoMustGo

Don't forget that no one has been held accountable for all the young men and women who have been killed during these protests. A young doctor providing free healthcare was shot and allowed to bleed to death because the police would not allow an ambulance to reach her.

Happy July 4th
The US banned Hawaiian language, overthrew our country, let us die in Maui fires, crushed our universal healthcare & illegally occupies Hawaii to this day. My mother's hands were broken for speaking Hawaiian in school. The US is no beacon, it's a destroyer of independence #july4

Folks, remember that the enemy is the colonial state and those who still want to benefit from it. Don't get caught by diversionary tactics. Keep your eyes on the goal.
