Dear twitter friends, From tomorrow I'll be taking a Lenten break from twitter. I'll still be on IG, and if I can work out how to bypass the facial scan prompt thing on substack I will also be over there. Be well, and godspeed.

3. Though we can have fun here, we shouldn't forget that this is a dangerous place that cannot be made safe. The best we can do is use the tools we have to our advantage. I encourage blocking.

2. If it were intended to be safe it would operate in the opposite. You would have total control over who has access to you. But it is not that way. Predators come here to hunt, and weak people susceptible to adopting the predator mindset are easily manipulated into joining them.

1. I believe that social media should be used "anti"-socially. I love to block. I don't owe anyone on here anything, not even the benefit of the doubt, and certainly not an explanation. No one does. Social media is designed to be predatory, it allows anyone access to you.
How does one even use an automated block list on here? I must be on at least one this is the only way to explain some of the random accounts that have me blocked that I've never interacted with

We live in a world of predators that are motivated by lust, greed, and ultimately power. There are predators everywhere, with traps set and waiting. Cling to Jesus and Mary.
loaning out money to kids who don't understand the debt they're taking on is just as perverted as the rest of the sick shit they do to kids

I also met a lot of wicked people in exile, who tried to trick me into subjugation and coerce me into permanent foreign servitude. All the enemies of Christianity tried, one by one, to subjugate me, and they ultimately failed. You will serve as my counter-examples.

A woman who told me about her abortion described to me how the chemicals in her brain were trying to convince her that she should love the baby that was growing inside her, and that she had to get the abortion as soon as possible to stop the chemicals from changing her mind.
We all laugh, but what’s happening here is holy. An instinct no ideology can suppress forever. Holding a baby rewires everything: your politics, your priorities, your purpose. We’ve spent decades teaching women to resist this. Imagine a world where we stopped.

Another way to refute Buddhism is to take note of the fact that by claiming that Buddhism is true, the Buddhist relies on his assumption that the purpose of the intellect is to know the truth. Yet he will deny the real existence of metaphysics in the same breath.
@NathanielRClark Both Buddhism and evolution (which rely on each other) have dangerous implications. Buddhism is also refuted by inquiring how exactly the truth of Buddhism is grounded, and in what. They try to slip out of it by ignoring/explaining away reality. Today, we call that gaslighting.

These are the books I have that are specifically about bread (although Webber's book actually has nothing to do with bread except the title). This is the list of titles of books I recommend on bread specifically (there are many other books that have contributed to my
@chiasmir asked me to create a book / reading list. Which of these subjects would you be most interested in that I would suggest? (I'm limited to a poll of 4 options)

Incidentally, this refutes both Buddhism and macroevolution. For (example) since the Buddhist claim is that all "things" pass through the wheel of karma until they are liberated, then no identity is ever really real. Macroevolution is the material version of this claim.
Ontologically speaking, neither came first, for both owe their existence to a cause greater than each other (God). In order of existence, the actualisation of chicken (rather than the potential of chicken (egg)) came first.
