i put success in double quotes because i used to think of success as having it lead somewhere. multiple dates, sex, relationship, etc i used to think "whats the worst that could happen?" and since finding out, i understand that if i don't put myself first, no-one else will
i’ve had a lot less “success” in dating the last couple years and i realized it’s because i’m not letting myself become what other people want, and instead letting them bounce off its lonely at times but the alternative is much worse
