As we celebrate Victory in Europe Day & remember those that made victory possible, my Aunt found this old photo of a VE Day party of her, my Dad (he was a toddler then) my Nan & Great Aunt celebrating at a street party on Linden Crescent in Kingston-Upon-Thames. Quite something!

Tariffs are bad for all - those who charge & those who pay suffer. A good produced in Northern Ireland is a good produced in the UK. If the EU retaliates w tariffs effecting goods made in NI for US, they can be reclaimed via the Duty Reimbursement Scheme (in Windsor Framework).

Having been a Govt Chief Whip I can imagine what the current incumbent of that role is doing. His team of Whips will be calling round their “flocks” & hear “loud rumblings” about the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
