The @ches_data is excited that @ElectoralStdies published our latest trend file dataset paper: In this piece, we investigate continuity & change in ideology and specific issue positions, like support for the EU as in Fig 2.

25 years of @ches_data show that European party positions are rather stable on all major dimensions (some movement is lost through aggregation and expert persistence). The striking change - and the story of our time - is the electoral decline of mainstream parties (bottom left)
