キスエク is the only group here to appear in a past list! 棘 was close last year, but RAY and 花魁道中 were groups I just started listening to last year. RAViDAVi just debuted this year! They made a great first impression!

Some fun facts: ever since I first discovered キスエク in April 2023, they are my most-listened-to artist by a very wide margin! Also, the only years I have had a repeat at number 1 are 2018 and 2019, before I discovered idols lol

They were my number 2 in 2023, but this year XOXO EXTREME are number one! Their major debut mini album (released on my birthday!), and their other singles this year had me hooked! The progressive idols are truly unique in the scene and I hope everyone checks them out! #キスエク

The other top 5s include a jyujyu album that I always go back to, Neo Japonism's newest release, Odoro's first full album, and a group that someone in a discord I'm in always recommended, so I gave them a listen #じゅじゅ #棘ちゃん #ネオジャポ #レべレべ

Back when this album released I said it would stick with me for a long time. And while overall I've listened to a lot less music this year, that still holds up. Himari continues to ascend and I couldn't be happier for her ❤️‍🔥

My number 2 song hasn't changed either! Anago's song is really fun and catchy! The only changes in the top 5 is that more キスエク songs joined "deus X machina" Forgotten Capital is one of my favorite releases from this entire year!
