It is crazy that this is the first acknowledgment from Morecambe that they have been suspended from the National League. Not the media admins job to sort it, but it is for the owner of the football club to ensure that communication is there. Unsurprisingly, he’s quiet. 🤐. #UTS.

Morecambe FC have had their National League membership suspended with immediate effect 🚨. The club remain under an embargo, and have now been removed from the National League Cup. The NL committee will meet again on August 20th, to discuss the next steps. Awful news. #UTS.
National League stated last week that Morecambe FC owner, Jason Whittingham, had until 12pm today to meet their request to outline financial and operational terms for the upcoming season. If he has failed to do so, further sanctions will be discussed by the NL Committee. #UTS

The amount of people who have disrespected the #Lionesses and Women’s football in general throughout this tournament has been disappointing to see. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. It is always that easy. The tournament has been great to watch. Missed out if you didn’t. 🏴.
