I still don't think enough people understand how crazy this decision was. Veljko Paunović needed three games to win in La Liga. He was popular in Oviedo, helped them earn promotion, and now manages Serbia. Carrión has ZERO wins from 15 La Liga games with two different teams.

Luis Carrión left Real Oviedo for UD Las Palmas in July 2024. After winning 0 of 9 games, he was sacked, while Oviedo earned promotion under Veljko Paunović. Paunović won two La Liga games, but was sacked and replaced by Carrión... Who now has 0 wins from 7 games in Oviedo.
