Not that long now until the paperback version of the Sunday Times bestseller Revolution hits the shops - And yes, it will be fully updated to include the 2023/24 season.
Coming in July 👇
I’m no expert on Barca’s finances, but dropping €50m on a 33-year-old striker when you already have Aubameyang and are laden with debt and are struggling (or refusing) to meet other contractual obligations just seems beyond crazy.
The more you look at this pic, the more you see.
Gabriel collapsed, Odegaard flat on the floor, White trolling Neto, Jorginho charging on. Saliba going….somewhere.
Nelson is the calmest of everyone 😂
Southgate saying Abraham has missed out purely because he lost form at the wrong time is pretty laughable really, considering he's taking Maguire over Tomori.
I honestly think that is the greatest ever Emirates moment - in terms of the celebrations, noise, drama.
That's the most chaotic I've ever seen this place. That beats Arshavin or Welbeck.
Last season’s two Champions League finalists - who between them announced combined profits of £129m for 2018/19 - now using a Government scheme to pay 80 per cent of staff’s wage just four weeks into a shutdown. It’s completely indefensible.
Waking up to yet more sickening examples of racist abuse being directed at young men who have achieved more in their short lives than the cowardly and pathetic abusers will in their entire lifetime. Stay strong

The latest trailer for All or Nothing has landed.
It includes a snippet of Arteta telling the squad Auba has been stripped of the captaincy and what looks like a training ground spat between Cedric and Lacazette.
Noticed this today. A small thing, but in keeping with the changes and small details Mikel Arteta has added at Colney. The players have to walk over it just as they step out onto the training pitches every day.
So, exciting news.
I’m delighted to announce I’m writing a book about Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal rebuild. The ups & downs, the drama and of course this crazy season.
REVOLUTION: The Rise of Arteta’s Arsenal publishes on Aug 31. You can pre-order here:
Last 5 min of Tunisia v Mali in

Not sure there is anything worse in football than someone telling someone else how they should celebrate. How is it even a talking point after a huge game like that? It’s just complete bollocks.
Absolute gutter punditry that is just chasing engagement.
As first reported by
@FabrizioRomano
tonight, Arsenal have now agreed a deal for Gabriel Jesus. Still some work to be done before everything is finalised, but this should (hopefully) be the easy part thanks to all the work that has already been done. We are getting there.
Arsenal players all enjoying meeting Arsene Wenger after last night’s game. It must have been a special moment when he walked back into the changing room.
I can’t believe I’m seeing people (and not just Piers Morgan) suggesting Arsenal should go for Ronaldo. What a way to bring down all the hard work that has gone into the last couple of years. It’s as bad as when some wanted Mourinho.
Great stuff from
@BukayoSaka87
, who has teamed up with BigShoe to cover 120 life-changing operations for children in Kano, Nigeria.
Saka: "I feel blessed to be in a position where I can contribute to making the children's lives better through these surgeries."
Arteta on the celebrations:
"Crazy. You lose sight of where you are. I started to run, I didn’t know where I was running. Then I saw a kid next to me that I had to give to security. Looking at the faces of the supporters. The smiles & joy in their eyes. It’s just great to live.
If Arsenal hoped this announcement could bring a bit of calm to the fanbase, they were wrong. It feels like things are only just getting started. Friday's protest outside the Emirates will still go ahead, but it's now a
#kroenkeout
protest. Will be interesting to see the numbers.

Considering the major financial issues that have impacted Arsenal this year - and will continue to impact Arsenal going forward - that is a big summer in terms of investment.
So many special Ozil moments during his time at Arsenal. Not sure anything encapsulates what he was about more than this goal though. Just ridiculously good.
It might have turned a bit sour at the end, but it was a lot of fun before that. Special player.
Whatever happens in these last 15 minutes, this Arsenal side have put in one hell of an effort tonight. All fighting for each other. Saka and White exceptional.
So fitting it was Saka who scored Arsenal's first goal back in this competition.
A player who came through and helped drag the club back up as a teenager and has been central to the rise back towards the top under Arteta.
A huge moment for him. One he thoroughly deserved.
Ramsdale: "Both penalties, I don't know why the ref is told to see one and not the other. It is there for a reason, go and use it. It is the inconsistency. The whole point is to help the game out, in real time it didn't look like one and slow it down on a screen and it is given."
Genuinely don’t think I will ever get my head round letting a 19-year-old, who has never taken a senior penalty before, have the final pen. So odd on so many levels. Devastating way to finish an amazing three weeks. So proud though. It’s been special.
Trossard has been unplayable. Left foot, right foot, drifting all over the pitch.Fulham haven't been able to get near him.
Three assists. Sensational stuff.
Saliba's numbers were ridiculous today:
Most touches (77)
Most passes (70)
Most succesful passes (67)
Aerial duels won (100%)
Most tackles (3)
Most clearances (3)
Most recoveries (11)
Cruised through his first north London derby.
Arsenal will be in a one-off all white kit for their FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest on Sunday. They have teamed up with Adidas as part of a new initiative to tackle knife crime and youth violence. The kit will not be for sale and is non for profit.
Two years ago today, Lacazette celebrates his winner against West Ham (last game before lockdown).
He’s the only player in the picture still at the club.
Nothing surprises me any more, but the fact that somehow the narrative seems to being pushed towards Ramsdale being even slightly to blame for what happened at Spurs is truly laughable.
Nothing rubs salt into the wounds more than sitting next to Alex Hleb and the BATE team while they celebrate beating Arsenal by wolfing down a Double Whopper meal at 8am
Jesus: “I believe 100% in Mikel. He helped me a lot at Manchester City. We would always stick together after training sessions and do some finishing or something. He’s a very intelligent guy so if he knows something, he can teach me or the young players.”
All six of Arsenal's summer signings ended that game on the pitch. Four of them started.
This is a new look Arsenal. It's young and there will no doubt be plenty of bumps along the road. But it feels fresh.
Understand that Steve Round has left Arsenal. He has been Arteta's assistant since his appointment in 2019. The decision has been taken by mutual agreement and announced to club staff.
I can't get my head around the Holding deal. I just can't understand how that is all he's worth.
27, proven & experienced PL defender, two years left on deal (taking option into account) & selling to another PL club. Palace must be laughing. Glad he's got a good move though.
Nacho Monreal has announced his retirement, aged 36.
One of, if not the best, defensive signing Wenger made during his final decade at the club. Always gave everything. Loved him as a player. So underrated.
His goal against City at Wembley is such a great memory.
So this is how it all started then, looks like they blindsided them while Kolasinac was leaning into the car talking to Ozil. How on earth Kolasinac has managed to turn this situation into those two legging it off bricking themselves I will never know. Incredible.
Monstrous performances from Saliba and Gabriel today. Limiting Aubameyang to just eight touches while he was on the pitch. Broja fared no better. Saliba absolutely immense. Gabriel with another vital goal. What a win.
Martin Odegaard has spent the day at London Colney meeting his new team-mates, undergoing all the necessary medical checks and going through all the usual club media duties ahead of his move from Real Madrid. Told announcement is more likely to come tomorrow rather than today.
Remarkable how if you are a top player your dives get magically renamed as ‘clever’ bits of play. De Bruyne absolutely robbed Fulham. Mad how no-one seems to want to call him out on it.
Bet if Fulham had won a penalty like that then we wouldn’t have heard the end of it.
Monreal can leave with his head held high. Excellent servant, underrated by those outside Arsenal. Won trophies and always gave everything for the club. Also continued to play while this transfer played out, unlike some. That goal against City at Wembley his stand-out moment.
