Its wonderful to see Zimbabwe football legends Agent "Ajira" Sawu, Chipo "Iron Man" Tsodzo, Dunisani "Dhumz" Ncube and Ronald "Gidiza" Sibanda on the technical bench of D1 side Kwekwe United. We hope the days of Ziscosteel, Lancashire Steel and Kwekwe Cables will be back!

Cry our beloved game . . . these past days we have been discussing the sad boardroom politics involving Sheasham FC, Zifa & PSL. In the years gone by we would ALWAYS be discussing the flamboyant skills of Shaya, the Ndlovu trio, Chunga, Mutizwa, Shambo, Mushekwi, etc. Its so sad

"A SAD END". The late football commentator, John Motson, was, for me, the greatest commentator who ever lived. I first listened to him as a teenager back in 1980 when ZBC-TV broadcast, live, the English FA Cup final between Arsenal and West Ham at my parents' house in Mbare.

I sincerely hope that the warring parties at De Mbare will come together for the sake of this great institution and let the club, their millions of fans . . . and the game of FOOTBALL be the ultimate winner!

I know we are all angry and hurt by the Warriors lifeless performance last Friday. But lets not start throwing brickbats now and concentrate on rallying behind the troops including Loga and his technical team. We are still in with a big chance against tricky Ethiopia.

the Mastermind has taken a rest after a long illness. So sad . . . RIP great Legend. Some people are calling him "Dynamos legend". Noo . . . he is a "ZIMBABWE LEGEND". For me, the gretes footballer to gfrace our fields. He was national team senior captain (1977-78).

Its high time we went beyond the group stage at Afcon. This looks like the "fairest" . . . please take note I didnt say "easiest". Senegal will obviously start as Group B favourites and its good that our first match is against them. That way we will be able to gauge our strength

Now that OUR own game is back . . . step aside Epl, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga! Kkkkk . . . so who do you think will be the top dog at the end of it all? Pure Platinum Play again? Kepula? De Mbare? Like Phil Collins sang: "We wait and we wonder"!

Have recently noticed a post mainly on whatsapp about former Black Aces central defender Simon Mudzudzu scoring ALL 4 goals in a 2-2 draw with Arcadia back in 1978 (ie, 2 own goals and 2 for Aces). That's a FAKE post . . . nothing like that ever happened. Eish . . . people!

Tough luck to "Pure Platinum Play" . . . but heey guys, you did us proud in the curtailing conditions where the game is not being played. Am sure the next time will be fruitful.
