Good morning Twitter. I’ve awoken to a very sad morning. George died yesterday. It was peaceful. I wasn’t there but his favourite carer was. The boys didn’t quite get there in time. We had a drink in the O & then a curry both George’s favourite places. Thank you all for your care

This was such a happy day a couple of weeks ago. We were all together for the 1st time in nearly 2 years & the last time. I believe George was at peace seeing his family together again & felt he could safely leave us. We love you George xx

Feeling good. Drove to the care home & the carers took George to the window. I waved madly & blew him lots of kisses. Shouted out I loved him. When he w eventually saw me he pointed & waved. It was lovely.

Phoned the care home & they tell me that George is making an amazing recovery. He ate a good meal yesterday & really enjoyed it. He’s just had a cup of tea. Smiling at everyone. They tell me ‘He’s George!’ What more can I ask for?

The boys have gone home I had lunch with my good friend Vanessa. I’m now here alone & feeling a bit empty but I’m really fine. George is being cremated at 10.15 on Friday. I will be with him in my heart but not my body. We have sent flowers for him.
