You don’t have to make minimal just because it’s hot. You don’t need to make Afro house just because it’s hot. You don’t need to make Latin house just because it hot. Do what you truly love and your time will come.

You can’t lose if you do more work than everyone else. It’s pretty simple really.

Build little by little every day 1% at a time

You carry on and you carry on and carry on and it looks like nothing happening until all of a sudden everything changes. The word for this is consistency.

2 things. Keep growing your fanbase & keep releasing music on labels who are going to pay promo companies to promote your records. The rest will fall into place as it should.

It’s ok for a record label to release every week but it’s not ok for the artist? I’m not sticking to those rules. That doesn’t make any sense.

My advice is to not listen to anyone tell you what, when & where to release and just do whatever you think is right. Your brand, your work, your project. In my experience when other people interfere it just slows you down and never works right.

Don’t wish for things to happen to quick and don’t rush. This can actually make it harder for you long term. Don’t burn yourself, take things on when you are ready.

When all this bullshit is gone the good music will remain

You can be safe in the knowledge that at some point everyone who has ignored you will come back to you and tell you they accidentally missed your message.

Every big DJ once played to an empty room. Lots of big DJs still play to empty rooms, they just don’t show you that bit. Keep showing up, keep playing like it’s packed — your moment is coming

Getting kicked in the back by a kid on a 5 hour flight is probably the most irritating thing I’ve ever experienced

The problem with DJing is you always travel home on a Sunday and everywhere is shut because it’s a Sunday so it’s not ideal

The difference with me is I don’t and won’t ever ever give up. No matter how hard it gets, I ain’t ever stopping.

Crazy how so many big DJs accounts are fully fake bots & comments and they get shows off the back of them because people really are that thick 😂😂

Get up every day, see what you can do to make things happen, repeat the process until something works.

Just because people make it hard for you doesn’t mean you should stop, exactly the opposite. Who’s anyone to stand in your way. Go destroy em all 🚀.

I hit up publishers, artists, labels, events every single day. Always have, always will. People aren’t gonna give you anything unless you get in their faces and stay there. In the end they cannot ignore you.

1 person can’t stop you, 10 people can’t stop you, 100 people can’t stop you. But you can stop yourself. Don’t let that happen.
