Y’all! A mom told me that she has to explain to her son (who I had last year) that he gets a new teacher this year. He bawled. He thought he was coming back to me. My heart breaks but is healed at the same time. I was THAT teacher for him.

It makes me really upset that teachers were fine with someone posting the “R” word and just ignoring it but now putting someone’s residence out there for anyone to see? Nope. It makes me really sick to my stomach that some still follow and interact.

I’m tired of hearing that em dashes are AI. I’ve been using them in my writing since I learned them! I like them. I like to use them for important information in my writing whether it’s general or my fiction writing.

Every week I buy a huge bag of cereal for my students. They eat breakfast so early and we have the 2nd latest lunch. So after specials (I pick up at 10) they get a scoop of cereal before reading stations. That’s a lot of $ that donors don’t understand. 😕.
