I love the increase in hate that Vols fans have for Vandy lately. They're working overtime for sure. When I was growing up in the 90s my Vols friends used to always tell me they don't even pay attention to Vandy. Times have changed! Now we're rent free.

But the other layer is if that original shot would go in regardless of the net being knocked off. That is the controversy. Getting that additional attempt. And that they're saying the net wad already moved off 20 secs before. It sucks to lose that way, but let's move past it.

Really insightful write up here about the rule interpretation last night for #Preds losing in OT. It really comes down to the original call on the ice, which I stated live on @CatfishIce as we were watching. Annunen knocked the net off unimpeded by a Wild player.

Let me be clear that I actually disagree. I don't think Stamkos is damaging his legacy with a rebuilding #Preds team that much. It's minimal at best. Is it a bad fit? Yes. Don't blame the player, blame the GM.
@x74199 @chad_minton Ehh.. I don’t think what he’s currently doing erases what he’s done, which is captain 2 cup teams with over 1192 points.. He’s going to be in the HOF with a statue outside of Amalie Arena. However, he is damaging a bit of his legacy..

I'm calling my shot right now on Steven Stamkos/#Preds trade stuff: I don't think Trotz is going to admit to defeat and trade Stammer by eating salary on it. He'll remain stubborn and hold onto him until at least sometime in Year 3 of his 4 year deal.
