All of the shit my parents engrained into my head coupled w the invalidation from MH professionals over years has me doubting the legitimacy of my diagnosis, wondering if they are wrong or lying to me.

Grieving the years I lost believing it was my fault and that I was overreacting due to MH professionals not taking me seriously. But now I’m here, in trauma therapy, with a PTSD diagnosis. But younger me deserved so much better.

Day was going good but then saw an ambulance on my way back from PHP lights & siren blaring.And it’s three hours later and I can’t stop thinking about my attempt I feel scared and overwhelmed. Getting flashes of images of scenes from what I heard happened that I can’t remember.
