Had a blast at the #clojureconj (my first ever). Met so many familiar and new faces, almost non-stop. Can't believe it's already over and I'm on my way back tomorrow! #clojureconj2025

Most problems solved by frameworks don't exist in Clojure. Most problems created by frameworks, therefore, don't exist in Clojure as well.

I need a progress bar with a wildly varying estimated time to completion but I still want to show steady progress. My 💡: a dot moving at constant speed along a space-filling curve (Hilbert?) and dynamically adjusting the curve’s resolution as the ETC changes. Thoughts?

We rewrote the Ghostty GTK application from scratch and verified every feature with Valgrind along the way. Here's a reflection, plus notes about memory safety and Zig from a complex, real world codebase used by many, many thousands all day everyday.

Yesterday I used Fontforge for the first time to create an icon font. Today with my newfound knowledge I "fixed" a font to have tabular number. Is it a slippery slope?
