Today in 2nd grade science, students continued to practice observation and scientific drawing skills with rocks from Mrs. Farisons “Bag of Very Cool and Amazing Rocks” 🪨 ✨

Today 2nd grade is doing a “Santa Drop” STEM activity in which they had to design and build a parachute for Santa to deliver presents. This design was super cool— double mask parachute! Love it! #futureengineer @McClellan_WJHSD @wjhsd #WErTJ

To wrap up our unit on “Changes”, Second grade welcomed Chemistry professor (& McClellan mom), Dr. Megan Nagle from @PennStateGA. We loved all of your experiments, but the electric pickle was LIT 🔥 Thank you! @McClellan_WJHSD #WErTJ @MeganNagel4 @wjhsd
