🚨 Emergency crews are on scene of a single-vehicle rollover at Big Chino Road and Highway 89 in Paulden. One adult patient was extricated and is expected to be airlifted for further care. Motorists should expect temporary delays on Highway 89 while crews work the scene.

Last night, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the CAFMA-PFD Joint Recruit Academy, honoring seven new CAFMA firefighters at Yavapai College.

With Taylor's assistance, Captain Fields fought small pockets of fire using a garden hose, helping keep the flames in check until on-duty firefighters arrived. Once crews were on scene, he provided a clear briefing and stepped back, letting the team take over. #AZFire #PrescottAZ

Taylor stayed with the residents, keeping them calm while Brody worked to secure their most important personal items, including eyeglasses, a cell phone, and the homeowner’s safe.

Captain Fields arrived to find one side of a home actively on fire and light smoke inside. Acting fast, he called 911, conducted a search and helped safely evacuate two residents, one non-ambulatory, and helped seat them in chairs with blankets to keep them warm.

OFF DUTY CAFMA CAPTAIN EVACUATES 2 DURING PRESCOTT HOUSE FIRE: This past weekend, CAFMA Captain Brody Fields was off duty and on his way to the gym with his wife, Taylor, when he spotted smoke near the Ponderosa Park area of #Prescott. Without hesitation, he jumped into action.

This morning, CAFMA and Prescott firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire in the area of Ponderosa Park Road in Prescott. Firefighters made a coordinated attack and were able to stop progress, preventing further damage. #PrescottAZ
