Obviously, I won’t be able to judge until the chapters are translated, but the reception Surrounding these chapters from what I’ve glanced (thankfully have avoided spoilers) have not been positive and this is like splashing cold water on me, after the heat that was chapter 56 😭

Arc 9 CH 56 Spoilers ahead: Tappei never scare me like that again, so glad that what was stated here was just her lying. Only in Re:Zero, would I be glad to see a character’s life ruined irrevocably like this. Anyway, kino chapter and Petra has been quite the fantastic foil-
Arc 9 CH 46 spoilers: Just Read RZ chapter 46. Not sure how to feel about this one, I have mixed opinions about it, that I want to think about further later. I will say one thing tho; Garfiel's entrance this chapter is so underwhelming, I didn't even feel hype when he came back.

One thing I'll always appreciate about the anime adaptation is their ability to depict Subaru's uglier/unsettling moments through how detailed they convey his facial expressions becoming more repulsive, twisted, and foul to match the aforementioned tone

Spoilers for Re:Zero season 4: It seems they've decided to change the background of the second floor, Electra, from a white void in the LN, to an open plain in the anime adaptation. Makes sense to create something more visually distinct for the adaptation.
