Do you think the Micah Parsons trade happens if the Cowboys documentary didn't just air and reignite the controversy over who should get credit for the Herschel Walker trade?. Because I don't think it does.

Yes the info is easy to find; it’s documented Jimmy hated the idea of trading Herschel Walker his best player in year 1. What he did after it was agreed to was what to do with players who traded. If this was the case did he make the Charles Haley trade.

This isn’t Herschel Walker, that was all Jimmy Johnson who is actually competent at his job. This was the Charles Haley trade, and I remember the 49ers loved that move looking back 🥴🤣.

Like it always is w/ Dallas, it’s about bad process. How he handled McCarthy, fire him after GB, instead held on a yr unnecessarily. Hiring a HC, love Shotty, but not interviewing any top guys. Now trading away an elite asset to an inner-conference rival for a solid deal 🤷♂️🤦♂️.
Were Cowboys winning the Super Bowl this year? Did they win big with Micah Parsons? Jerry is rolling the dice because he didn't want to pay Micah and because he can. Go ask other GMs if they'd take 2 1st rounders, Clark, and $47 m for guy. you'd be surprised how many say yes.

I feel the worst for Kenny Clark, Donovan Ezeiruaku, DeMarvion Overshown, and Trevon Diggs. These guys are going to get so many expectations they can’t possibly live up too by the stupid part of our fanbase thrown on them & then will be unnecessarily hated when they aren’t met.

Micah Parsons is one of 29 first-round picks in the Common Draft Era who was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons. He now will become the only one to play for a different team in his fifth season.

This trade was obviously bad, we didn’t get enough(I love the DT btw) The only way this turns ok is if the team finally pays free agents in the offseason. I don’t believe they will, but if they did I’d accept it.
