It's official! City Council has just legalized ADU's in Cincinnati. I am proud of this Council and City Administration for all of their hard work in making this happen
The legislation to allow Accessory Dwelling Units in Cincinnati passed out of committee today! One step closer to being the first major city in Ohio to legalize this type of housing. Thanks to everyone for their support in this effort!

There is a reason we set a Big Audacious Housing Goal of building 40,000 units in 10 years: we need units & a stretching goal to define “what needs to be true” to achieve it. And then do it. We are undertaking that process now - defining those tools to unlock this growth.
If Cincinnati is going to meet its lofty housing goal, it is going to need some new builds downtown.

Great coverage of the partnership between CRC and the skate community to further activate public space in the NOTR/Mohawk area!

One local neighborhood is looking into a unique idea: letting skateboarders build their own skate spot to revive an underused civic space.

Thanks to our partners at @OKIRCOG, we approved two grants for improved pedestrian infrastructure. One will add a sidewalk from mid-block Asmann Ave to Reading Rd and narrow the intersection. The other extends the shared-use path on Beechmont Ave from Elstun Rd to Ranchvale Dr.

Today, I advocated to include additional 3CDC Ambassadors in Downtown and OTR as part of our ongoing public safety efforts. Their presence is an incredible asset--not only helping to keep the streets clean, but also building community trust and enhancing safety through visibility

Lead in our environment and drinking water is a real danger to public health. This news from GCWW marks important progress in the effort to remove all private LSLs by 2033.
GCWW is celebrating a milestone in improving public health! We replaced more than 1,600 lead lines during the past 12 months ending June 30. That’s a 28% increase over our previous one-year record. Find out if your property has a lead line. Click here -- https://t.co/SyWtj5yJwg

As the population continues to grow, the U.S. has failed to keep up with needed housing. Developers and cities see opportunities, but neighborhoods don’t always agree with the plan and want an avenue...
Big thanks to Ann Thompson for having me on the Brick by Brick podcast to discuss how everyday people can shape the future of their neighborhoods. Catch the episode on June 11!

I'm excited to share our "City as a Lab" initiative, inviting companies to test new technologies in real-world environments. As part of this, we’ve partnered with Airtrek Robotics to use an autonomous robot to help keep Lunken’s runways cleaner and safer.
