I hear many tales of how younger Gen Z and Gen A cohorts, raised on free mobile games, Minecraft, Roblox, and, to some extent, Switch, are just not that bothered about visuals. "What's 4K mean?" they asked. I start to explain but was cut off with... "BORING!"

It's interesting (and great!) that there's so much demand for Switch 2. I had a chat with a couple of tweens I know who love their Switch, and we looked at the promo vids for the new one, inc Mario Kart World, and they were totally nonplussed. "It's just the same, why bother?"
