In 2014 @Design39Campus in @PowayUnified had the dream of creating a learning space where students were Life Ready, Thought Leaders, Elevating Humanity. Congratulations to the first graduating class. Early and often I was asked "Will they be ready for high school?" Yep! And more!

Finished up our informational writing this week and used get epic books as mentors to create our own. So impressed with how these turned out! Ss got to pick their favorite snack and drink today and spend one of our blocks reading and reviewing classmates books!

Our "Life Skills Block" has been such a highlight this year. The students are engaged and eager to learn something new. Budgeting, planting an herb garden, table setting, positive morning routines, just to name a few! Any life skills you wish you were taught in 3rd grade?

Some of our third grade learners started on campus yesterday! Virtual students were asked to use the design thinking process to answer this question and come up with solutions: How might we stay connected to the on campus learners? Let's see what cool things they come up with!
