I'm sure there are still some million dollar domains out there, just waiting to be claimed.

Many companies are turning to resellers to strengthen their brands instead of finding strange unregistered domains. For example, OpenAI recently bought https://t.co/ix08xUwvNL for over 15M.

Domain names are the new real estate. Yes, in theory there is a near infinite number of available ones, but in practice only a small subset are actually meaningful, and they're running out.

Given how fast Neural Rendering has advanced in recent years, a real-time, VR application like this is no longer science fiction. Just imagine showing this to someone just 10 years ago...
What if you could not only watch a generated video, but explore it too? 🌐 Genie 3 is our groundbreaking world model that creates interactive, playable environments from a single text prompt. From photorealistic landscapes to fantasy realms, the possibilities are endless. 🧵

gpt-oss is out! we made an open model that performs at the level of o4-mini and runs on a high-end laptop (WTF!!) (and a smaller one that runs on a phone). super proud of the team; big triumph of technology.

Turns out the strip_markdown package on pip just converts md to html, then strips the html using bs4. I made a 300x faster alternative using C. https://t.co/34D1E3NAJJ

Of course in some cases, you can just have the AI fix its own code, limiting your need to intervene, but with every task come some bad choices, usually due to the model not properly understanding the codebase, and they pile up until even the smartest model can't help you anymore.

I found that I save the most time when I use these tools for refactoring/implementation tasks which don't require much design thought, just grunt work and one obvious best solution. Not adding entire new features that can be implemented in many different ways.

The problem with using AI code editing tools (Cursor, CC, Copilot) is not as much code quality as it is tech debt. If you don't regularly check in with what the AI is actually doing, you'll spend more time reverse engineering your own code than actually writing it.

9 months have passed since my last upload, but I have now finally completed a project I would like to share, and I know many of you have been looking forward to it. Not sure when I'll be done with the editing though, but it will still take a while!

I released the video titled "Simulating the Evolution of a Zombie Pandemic" over a year ago and it has remained one of my least popular videos, until this happened... I have no idea why, but it's about to overtake my most popular video. Can anyone explain what happened?

It's only been 4 months since the channel hit 1K and it now has double that amount. Thank you all so much!

I absolutely recommend this eye-opening video by @Kurz_Gesagt about the overexaggerated danger of Nuclear energy: https://t.co/wPG5gvAsVH If you're worried about the legitimacy of the data, their sources are linked in the video description.
