Before she passed away, Molly Browne was constantly approached to sell her farmland in Highfields. She was steadfast that her family property be used for a #retirementvillage and nursing home. That #retirement village, Brownesholme, opened 30 years ago.

Carinity Kepnock Grove #agedcare hosted a Trooping the Colour celebration to commemorate everything related to England. Residents sent letters to the king, danced the maypole, practiced the 'knighting' ceremony and enjoyed medieval games and broad swords demonstrations #Bundaberg

Happy #birthday to Carinity Brownesholme #agedcare residents, John and Joyce, who were both born on the same day 87 years ago! John was born in Sydney, which had a population of around 1.3 million people in 1938. Joyce was born in Tara, where around 2,000 people lived. #Toowoomba

Songs of praise are regularly heard in Carinity #agedcare communities. A specially curated presentation of church songs is held weekly at Carinity Brookfield Green. Chaplain Sharon leads residents to sing hymns old and new, combined with moments of prayer. #LivingWithSpirituality

Annette's grandfather, Ernest Albert Kirwood, was one of the first residents of our first #agedcare home for seniors, Clifford House, opened in 1949. She has gifted to #Carinity a 1951 Clifford House pocket calendar which was supplied to family members of residents. @HelloCareAU
