We have written to CRS to inform them of our concerns and to ask for a meeting of all parties to be arranged as soon as possible. We will make no further comment at this time. 4/4

Our referee pool contains both members and non-members of the Cardiff Referee Society (CRS), and we advised them that any decision they took would be without prejudice. 3/4

However, whilst the CCFL does not condone either violence toward or, abuse of referees, we had intended to give all of our referees the choice to make their own decision as to whether or not they wanted to participate in the action. 2/4

The Cardiff Combination Football League (CCFL) have decided to support the planned Service Withdrawal Action on Friday 1st November, Saturday 2nd November and Sunday 3rd November. The CCFL has now taken steps to postpone all planned fixtures. 1/4

League secretary Tito Girolami said on Facebook: “So sad to hear the news of the Passing of Glenys. Such a loss to all. Glenys like her father Ken and brother Keith was a beacon of positive light to Avenue and was also a much valued and respected member of the @cardiffcomb.

Our condolences go out to all the Harris/Stiff family during this sad times and she will never be forgotten for what she brought to our league.

Glenys served so many years on the league, helping her Dad and held a number of roles, including minute’s secretary, and was devoted to the Combination and will be fondly remembered by us all.

Ken held numerous positions during his tenure including secretary, chairman and president.
