Of course we will regroup, pick up the pieces, and look for new ways to support our trainees and the next generation of scientists - but this will have long-lasting impacts for many years to come. Meanwhile, we persevere with wonderful colleagues and mentors. @PRicansInSTEM.

This week we received the news we were dreading, that our current NIH training grant, was abruptly terminated. A seemingly senseless and arbitrary decision, regardless of the far reaching achievements of the 70 trainees we supported over the past 17 years.
