On this day…July 2nd, 1964, the Civil Rights Act was passed. Signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson, the Civil Rights Act is a landmark law that makes discrimination based on race, color, religion, sec or national origin illegal.

On May 21, 2022 at 1:00-3:00 pm, @gracedli will be in person at CAMDC to sign copies and chat about her highly anticipated debut novel, Portrait of a Thief. The Q&A and book reading will begin at 1:30pm. There will be books sold on site or you can bring your own copy!
