If you need a little pick-me-up, BN's annual November Criterion sale is happening. I scored the Dietrich/Von Sternberg box and 'Summer Hours' by Assayas on the website yesterday; may go look for a couple of other needed gems at the store today.

I'm pretty much done with Twitter. I don't know if I'll even continue updating my movie list at this point, since the flames seem to be intensifying. (I saw 'Wakanda Forever,' which is good but VERY grief heavy and probably not what I should have watched.)

Oklahoma has been telling me exactly who it is for years, and clearly, I haven't listened closely enough. Time to beat feet, man.

Oh, a recommendation: I am watching 'A French Village' ('Un Village Français') on MHz and it is pretty great and, unfortunately, very timely. It is on a few platforms, I think, and worth your time.
