I just fixed a bug in my tile discovery algorithm. It seems like there is still a lot of work to be done. I'm feeling like my submission is going to be more of a tech demo than a full game.

Tonight I'm going to be working on a GUI and menus for my game. A lot of the action will happen through menus, so this part is pretty important. Learning as I go. Hoping to have some screenshots in a couple days. #gamejam #GodotEngine #gamedev.

The results for Godot Jam June 2018 are in. My game came in 11th out of 111 entries. I'm pleased with the work I was able to do and had a great experience participating in my first game jam.
