Happy Birthday Forth 1! 50 years ago a giant launched across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk. Our team still do the founders proud as the outright number 1 radio station in the area and Boogie in the Morning is the officially the UK Breakfast Show of the Year. ๐ช๐

I thought it was bad when thereโs a communal bar of soap sitting at the sink in public toilets. Imagine seeing this thing ๐
Instead of toilet paper, Ancient Romans used a sponge on the end of a long stick that was shared by everyone in the community. This device was called a Tersorium When not in use, the stick stayed in a bucket of heavily salted seawater in the communal bathroom. Below you can see

Travelling on @scotrail peak time Glasgow to Edinburgh today. Ticket was double the price of an off-peak. I rarely get the train so excuse my suddenly giving a shit. But I fully expected this train to be packed and thereโs hardly a soul on it. Why such a difference in price? ๐ตโ๐ซ
