Friday night, our football team played in honor of Army Staff SGT Christopher Newman, who died October 29th, 2011 in Kabul Province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an IED. His sacrifice is not forgotten.

Last night, our football team played in honor of Marine Captain James Edge, who died April 14th, 2005 in Ramadi, Iraq, by enemy small-arms fire while conducting combat operations. His sacrifice is not forgotten.

Last night, our football team played in honor of Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class David Warsen, who died August 16, 2012 in a Black Hawk helicopter crash northeast of Kandahar, Afghanistan. His sacrifice is not forgotten.

Last night was a special night at WBHS. While our players earned a win, our team, school, and community embraced Cam Thepsimuong and his family as he continues to battle cancer. Cam is an inspiration to so many, and we are honored to continue to support Cam’s Purpose.
