Thank you to the Cal Press Foundation who presented Del Mar's new journalism program with a $1500 check as part of their equipment grant! This will be used to purchase cameras. The journalism students spent the past week learning journalism basics & writing staff bios. Good week!

Google blocks local news in California because of a bill that would require big tech to pay for journalism it is taking for free from news sites. This action shows why legislation is required to reign in tech. ⁦@cal_press⁩ ⁦@JournalismFP
