I sincerely hope PolicyBazaar takes cognizance of this issue, reviews the call recording (which I’m also happy to share), and implements measures to ensure better training, accountability, and empathy from your team — especially those in supervisory roles.

These policies are about protecting our families when we are no longer there to protect them ourselves. Such a nonchalant response, especially after giving incorrect information, deeply erodes trust in your platform and its representatives.

Many ppl trust platforms like PolicyBazaar to guide them through the complex terms and conditions of insurance policies — especially when it comes to critical features like illness benefits, survival clauses, & exclusions. What’s even more disappointing is not the mistake itself.

the survival period was indeed 15 days, as per the official documentation. This may sound like a small technical error, but in reality, such miscommunication and misinformation can have serious consequences for customers making long-term, high-impact financial decisions.

To my surprise, the supervisor reiterated the same incorrect detail, once again stating that the survival period was 30 days. It was only after I insisted that they recheck during the call that made him finally acknowledged I was correct.

I was informed that the survival period for CI benefit payout was 30 days. However, I was fairly confident — based on my prior research — that the survival period was actually 15 days. When I pointed this out, the agent looped in her supervisor, expecting to validate the info.
