I would go to the Music Department before school. I would go to the Music Department at break time. I would go to the Music Department at lunch time. I would go to the Music Department after school. I would always go to the Music Department, because the Music Department was home.

The young person found in the Music Department is often unrecognisable from the same young person found out of it. Music is different and it allows young people to be different, or in reality, it allows young people to truly be themselves. Music helps reveal the real child.

Sometimes we forget that young musicians and athletes just love to play and sing. That is the core of why they love doing what they do. Let them play/sing and strive for perfection and excellence in due time. Start at the core - in their hearts.

What a joy listening to music is. To lose yourself, or find yourself, or comfort yourself, or inspire yourself, or relax yourself, or entertain yourself, or lift yourself, or remember yourself, or change yourself. Listening to music is such a joyously important thing to do.
