What’s one of your wins of week? Share something you’re proud of. I filmed the last video in a series on building apps on HubSpot. Between the research, code samples, and video production it was a lot of work. And I’m really proud of it!.

I get so caught up in my head when I’m waiting on news. Like one half of my brain says I’m chill and patient. The other half comes up with every possible bad scenario and convinces the chill side that we’ve failed. Never a dull day here 😂.

This is also a reason I don’t love hearing people say “just read the code” tho. It takes me a little longer which is why o rely on code comments. The “clean code speaks for itself” crowd forgets that everyone doesn’t process info the same way.

I’m dyslexic and I used to be really embarrassed about it. Now it’s just a funny quirk that leads to funny moments. Like purchasing and hanging up this RDR2 poster before my husband told me it was spelled wrong.

Does anyone have a resource they recommend for creating YouTube thumbnails? I’m struggling 😭. It’s not the act of creating them. I’m good with Canva. It’s making thumbnails that people will want to click on. Understanding what jumps out and such.

Vegas was fun! I got to check a couple things off of my 30 before 30 bucket list. Now to go home and recover from vacation

When people say a place is expensive, I don’t usually put too much stock into it because it’s subjective to everyone. But Las Vegas is the one place I’ve said out loud “this shit is expensive”. I have been on the strip for most of the trip, and I know that matters.

I just had my first facial and it was so relaxing! I always opt for a massage, but I think facials are the way to go now.

Trouble #1: Sand in Vegas in June/July is HOT and you SHOULD NOT try to make it into the water with bare feet. Unless you want burns on the bottom of your feet. Ask me how I know 😂.

My struggle with platforms like TikTok is showing code in an engaging format. And making this was a great exercise in blending code into a TikTok trend. It’s less about the details of the code and more about the final result! So everyone could enjoy, not just devs.
