"The hardest thing about the road not taken is that you never know where it might have led." - Lisa Windgate ^^ That's why I believe so much in founders. They take the road less traveled. They swing for the fences.

Good morning product managers! Is today the day that you use politics, persuasion and project management to get things done? Or will you do real product work? Your call.

Founders: What inspired you to start your company? If you win, you'll be at it easily 5-10 years, so it better be something meaningful!

Good morning folks! Today, you'll get some things right. 🎉 And you'll make some mistakes. 😬 Shit happens. Push through it. (Well, if you find yourself in actual shit get out as quickly as possible, pushing through sounds awful).

What's the biggest assumption you have about your business right now? It's so big, if you get it wrong, the business likely fails... That's what you should be out testing ASAP. Nothing else really matters.

I'm a huge fan of @Lovable but today's been so frustrating I'm very close to switching. Not sure to what, but Lovable and I spent a lot of time going around in circles, pissing away credits for nothing.

"When you have to make a choice and don't make it, that in itself is a choice." - William James I still make this mistake. Inaction is often one of a founder's biggest regrets.

To all the product managers out there, we know your job isn't easy. But today is a new day, and you have the power to make a difference. Get everyone aligned on the roadmap. Get the design + engineering teams jamming. Talk to a customer. Hug the Customer Success & Sales ppl.

"If you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too late." - Reid Hoffman Please don't take this to mean you can put out a piece of s**t product and expect people to love it, let alone use it. That's not what Reid's saying.

"Winning takes talent, to repeat takes character." - John Wooden I'm leaning in on 'character' and hoping with enough kicks at the proverbial can, I'll win. Effort > talent.

Please entrepreneurs, don't be satisfied with a superficial understanding of the problem you want to solve. Dig deep to find the truth.

Don't start a company based off a mega trend. A mega trend is a big, obvious thing happening in the world. * Big is good * Obvious is not. If something is obvious, everyone sees/knows it. Now you're competing with no advantage, unless you dig deep.
