Happy to finally finish this. Itβs been months of going all in on my own journey. Fitting.

I can confirm that AirPod Max noise cancellation is not sufficient to block out someone rolling up to the table beside me in the quiet hotel lounge and blasting TikTok's with their phone at 100% volume at 6am.

Inspired by one of our Execs, I started to share sort of in this way with my team a number of weeks ago. Often they're partially explored insights in case they can bolster something someone else is working on.
A tip for remote teams of 2-10 people. Create a personal "ramblings" channel for each teammate in your team's chat app of choice. Ramblings channels let everyone share whatβs on their mind without cluttering group channels. Think of them as personal journals or microblogs inside

Although frustrating at the time, once I fixed it, I appreciated how much I learned about TypeScript, Next.js and Prisma through the troubleshooting process.

All the vibe examples just weren't working. Took it apart and rebuilt dozens of times. Went to Google and it actually became quite easy to hone in on the fix because I had narrowed the situation down quite a bit.

I just grab some bits of boiler plate and feel out where I can make the adjustments I want. But at one point, I was stuck for hours on Prisma not initializing properly.

I built on my basic python and SQL, and learned a bit of Flask, FastAPI, Next.js, Prisma, Tailwind - enough to build "hello world" for each one. Took a day and a half.

Reached a happy medium with vibe-coding where I just focus more on learning, less on the exact thing I'm building. The key for me is letting myself fail. π§΅
