My goal is to build good looking apps with one core feature. If it generates revenue, I add new features. Don’t waste time on features when you’re unsure if people will pay for your app.

Even though I’m not in favor of quitting your 9-5 and going all in on your side project until it makes some money, I do think it puts a gun to your head to succeed.

I think when you hate your 9-5 more than enough, you will look for ways to escape it. Building something on the side a little each day will definitely pay off.

I've started building my second iOS app, not because the first one flopped but because I'm hooked. Things are much smoother this time, and I want to see what Apple's Foundation Model does and if it's better than using another LLM API.
