Larkin Lager, 716 Kolsch, Aviator Red, Rusty Chain - this brewery is responsible for so many of our all-time favorite local beers. While we are sad to see this location close, FBBC will live on through @HamburgBrewing and we are thankful for that.

Our last time at @flyingbisonbrewing is hard to put into words. We don't know how to feel. Flying Bison has been such an integral and formative brewery for us and one of the main reasons we started the Buffalo Beer League.

According to @BrewersAssoc, craft brewer volume sales declined by 4% in 2024, raising small and independent brewers’ share of the U.S. beer market by volume to 13.3%. Independent brewers contributed $72.5 billion to the U.S. economy in 2024 & nearly 440,000 jobs in total.

The beers we've had over the years at this event are some of our favorite local beers ever. Thanks to Big Ditch for always knowing how to kick off the holiday season in style. We can't wait for next year.

A decade of @bigditchbrewing Stoutsgiving is in the books for us and it has been one hell of a dark and boozy ride. There was so much great stout this year - our favorite was the Aqueduct Double Barrel, followed by Aqueduct Estate and Old Widow Jane, a barrel aged old ale.

We had an excellent lunch this past weekend at NYBP Beer Lodge. @nybeerproject Holiday IPA paired perfectly with the Friendsgiving Burger & Imperial Paradise Falls IPA was a banger - soft, yet boozy, with big tropical fruit notes. And the Christmas decorations are up!

We recommend taking some time to be a tourist in your own backyard - grab some beers and take in the sights - you won't be disappointed and might actually be surprised with what you experience.

We are back in the office after a truly epic Western New York craft beer weekend. We hit @ResurgenceBrew, Frequentem, BriarBrothers Brewing, @HofbrauhausB, @nybeerproject Beer Lodge, @42northbrewing and wrapped up a great weekend at Griffon Gastropub in East Aurora.

What better place to spend a sunny November afternoon than in the @42northbrewing beer garden? We grabbed a seat by the fire & a Masterson's English Honey Bragott. It's absolutely lovely - roasty with light notes of clove & cinnamon. And we had to back it up with Borderland IPA.

We're having a little Steak & Margaritas for lunch. In beer form. Briarbrothers Brewing latest hazy, a collaboration with @elifishbrewing and Runaway Blue, doesn't taste like those things, but it's fantastic - soft bodied with notes of mango and sweet citrus and a smooth finish.

When the @BuffaloBills are on @hallmarkchannel, it's an event. We're drinking @42northbrewing Where Else Would You Rather Beer? Kolsch for the debut of "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story" to go along with our hot cocoa & even broke out our @Hallmark Christmas movie socks.
