We're making great progress working with @cakewallet to integrate $XHV and $XMR with @THORChain. Financial privacy will meet decentralized liquidity. Game changer. $xUSD #ExpectPrivacy

I did not understand #bitcoin when i first heard of it. The haven protocol is hard to understand at first. Some of the smartest people on this earth do understand it. #dyor $xhv $xUSD https://t.co/rFvlTd2F8X
@ercwl @aztecnetwork @ZkopruNetwork Yep that's fair. There is another stablecoin, far smaller and not nearly as decentralized (yet) called Haven's xUSD. It uses a similar mint/burn mechanism as Terra's UST, but it's a fork of Monero with the corresponding degree of privacy.

9) The Haven Protocol did something that nobody thought was possible. A deeper look/understanding into/about this protocol is found here: βΉοΈβ¬οΈ https://t.co/lvUT8ozDlI Soon... β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ $rune @THORChain @HavenXHV

7) The Haven Protocol is a fork of Monero that supports the creation of private coins representing both stable & volatile assets. Virtually any asset can be created on Haven Protocol, including currencies and commodities. All of these are private by default. $xAU $xAG $xCNY $xBTC

5) π΄ Because blockchains like Monero do not support tokenization likeΒ #Ethereum and the alternative to tokenization (Coloured Coins) requires a degree of transparency that is not available on #private blockchains. βΉοΈ Great read β¬οΈ https://t.co/4NvhL0m5Ue

4) Like i said earlier, it was long thought impossible to create coloured coins. π Not on the #bitcoin #blockchain. π΄ And also this was thought to be impossible to do on private blockchains like #Monero.

3) Coloured coins have different operating mechanisms depending on the protocol or the way they are implemented. Remember that a protocol simply means a way of doing things. π΅π’π π’π€βͺπ£β«π΄π‘π π΅ βΉοΈ https://t.co/IBa5MaTBKZ

1) I wanted to talk to/with you about: π’β«π΄π‘π£π΅βͺπ€π "COLOURED COINS" When i read the first discussions on bitcointalk in 2013, they said it could not be done, ever.... What are coloured coins?

11) One month later, when Anne decides to convert back to XHV, she will receive exactly 4οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ USD worth of XHV. When the price of 1οΈβ£ XHV rose to 4οΈβ£ dollar, she would receive 1οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ XHV. Why, that's less XHV? Because that represents exactly 400 USD! 1οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ βοΈ 4οΈβ£π΅= 4οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£π΅

10) Anne owns 2οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ XHV with a market value of $2οΈβ£. She decides to convert all of her XHV to xUSD so (200 x $2 = $400) therefore she receives 400 xUSD. These 4οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ $xUSD will always be redeemable, at any moment, for exactly 4οΈβ£0οΈβ£0οΈβ£ $USD when you convert back to XHV. π

9) When a user converts from XHV to xUSD, they mint xUSD and burn the equivalent USD worth of XHV. π’ This can be simply explained by the example below: π

8) The Haven Protocol uses what is known as a βmint & burnβ process to convert between all supported assets on the network. Once a person owns XHV, that can then be used as network collateral to convert to any other supported xAsset like $xUSD or $xBTC π
