@BUVisualArts @mfaboston Born in Roxbury, MA, Wilson was a distinguished member of the BU School of Visual Arts faculty for more than 20 years. He primarily taught undergraduate foundation drawing, which remains an essential part of SVA’s curriculum and is required for all first-year students.

This past spring, @BUVisualArts presented the exhibition, “Foundation Drawing: The Legacy of John Wilson,” at CFA’s Commonwealth Gallery, where first-year drawing students created works in response to the @mfaboston exhibition, “Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson.” 🤎
