One of my favorite comedians blurbed my book. @Zachanner - actor and writer for ABC's Speechless - gave my novel the kindest endorsement. Please watch the hilarious Speechless episode where he gets tased by Minnie Driver. This man deserves his own TV show. @acre_books

"They were a twin comedy duo, making people laugh with Michael’s set ups, Sal driving home the jokes. They moved through life in tandem, as Sal-Michael, him first, Michael just behind.”

Novel: “For one week, he and Sal could feel it. They could feel what it was like to be true twins...They had been in a world without buildings Sal couldn’t get into, without schools he couldn’t attend, without events he wasn’t invited to, without conversations he couldn’t join."

I read the camp dance scene in the Great Hall, where the camp dance scene takes place. I held the book on the bridge where the brother escapes. Plus, one of my old campers, Karon, was in the audience and remembered me and my brother.

When you go back to the place you’ve been writing about for 20 years and they welcome you with open arms. 25 years ago, my twin brother and I attended Camp Cheerful, a camp for people with disabilities. It was like a second home to us. Last week I read from my novel at Camp.

"We’re taught that disability is tragic, sad, and maybe inspiring. But comedy is the genre of survival." Today on the site, contributor @anyagroner interviews @btrapperkeeper about his new novel, RANGE OF MOTION.

Range of Motion is officially out today. It took 10+ years. No matter how difficult the writing was, deep down I knew a character like my twin brother needed to exist. Don’t give up, kids.@acre_books #briantrapp #acrebooks #smallpressbooks #rangeofmotion #newfiction #caregiving

"I think writing about others’ lives is always a fraught and uncomfortable process, especially when that life is someone like my brother’s, who is a vulnerable subject and cannot tell his own story." —Brian Trapp, Author of Range of Motion https://t.co/QvWKLpRwBP

Happy to receive this wonderful endorsement from the great @elmckenzie1 -- author of one of my favorite novels, The Portable Veblen. When I meet someone who also loves that book, it’s like a delightful secret we share. Please read it! @acre_books

One month until Range of Motion officially drops from @acre_books on October 15. Happy to share this fantastic blurb from @JonathanEvison -- I very much love his novel The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, which was made into a @netflix film starring Paul Rudd.

This is a vital @wellbeingsorg PBS documentary if you care about caregiving in America. It highlights the caregiving burden placed on American families and the governmental retreat of support after the end of institutionalization. #caregiving #pbs
