Over on a different site I wrote a bit about getting the EXAS BASIC Compiler and its Runtime Package working without a PC-6006 RAM/ROM cartridge, using just OCR'ed magazine type-ins, emulators, and a new loader. It makes these great old tools a bit more accessible, I think #EXAS

As an #MSX fan who often uses English-language reference material, I find Generation MSX pretty helpful when I have questions about software. Recently the site started to better reflect the sometimes complicated company/developer/brand and rōmaji is fixed

It works somewhat! The speed isn't ideal but the movement is there and the sound is there. PC-6001 mkII Tiny Xevious mkII on #MSX0 thanks to @tiny_yarou (QWERTY face would work better for the loader, or just skip that. I used remote connection instead)
