so i didnt think protobuf could sink really lower, but what i am experiencing right now with their python implementation is really topping the charts. Essentially type checking at runtime without the possibility of lsp support (std vscode + plugin) on neither types nor fields.

The typesystem is completely delusional about what's actually happening. And the most mind boggling thing is that it has neither the ability to actually prevent random runtime crashes NOR a good DX when it comes to ADT's. But instead we get rndm toy garbage like sorting in types.

Honestly typescript is such a joke. Using open source (web) project and something is crashing (bc ofc it is). Ok go ahead fix it real quick. Even try to contribute to the project bc why not. Currently spending 10x the time of the initial fix to fix typescripts _wrong_ assumption.

currently wasting my time on @nextauthjs because they are able to let a identical signin fail when unrelated parts of the page change. Such an exiting and exhilarating feeling to be working with such incredible tech.
