[Good news!] Reading through the judgement of the legal case that a TERF brought against her employer has made reassuring reading. The employment tribunal ruled that absolutist anti-trans beliefs are not protected as a philosophical belief under the Equality Act!

Anyone who supports or endorses hate groups like LGB Alliance and Woman’s Place UK is a transphobe. Anyone who promotes their messages is harming trans people. No two ways about it.

It’s great that @obuarts made the decision to not host a transphobic artist who supports hate group LGB Alliance today. The artist claims she may be invited back so we encourage students & staff to keep the pressure on @oxford_brookes! Solidarity @BrookesLGBTQ #OxfordBrookes

One city, two universities. One which listens to its students and pledges to protect them from hate speech (@oxford_brookes) and one which doesn’t, and instead leaves its trans community feeling unwanted and vulnerable (@UniofOxford). Shame on Oxford University once again.

Yesterday, hundreds of people came out in solidarity with trans people in Oxford. Hundreds of people stood with us in the rain and the cold. Hundreds of people joined us in a chorus of defiance and resistance. This is what Oxford looks like. This is what solidarity looks like.
