Looking at 2022 (pre ChatGPT) to 2025, data centers used 3.7% of CA total electricity. Our electricity rates increased by 25% during that time. In VA data center use was 25.6%. Their electricity rates increased only 8%....

BEA reports CA’s Personal Income grew at an annualized rate of 4.9% in the 2nd Q, below the US average of 5.5%.  CA ranked 32nd highest among the states and DC, which were led by KS (10.4%), NM (8.7%), and AZ (7.7%).  CA’s Personal Income growth in the 1st Q was revised from 5.2%
