Fantastic start to the ESCG Satellite meeting with a plenary from Lukáš Palatinus on electron crystallography, followed by talks on disordered MOFs, new ferroelectrics, drug design, and surface properties of pharmaceuticals! 💎

Just over an hour until the @ESCG_BCA satellite meeting, which starts this year’s #BCA2024. Looking forward to some excellent talks and posters from our early stage crystallography community.

The Hobday group had a fun week at the #BCA23 @britcryst. Joshua won the @IUCr Poster Prize and Shivani won the @YCG_BCA @rigaku flash presentation prize! Very proud of the whole research group who presented their work!

I am very honoured to have been awarded the BCA prize lecture for notable contribution to scientific research in which crystallography has played a central role. Thanking all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to work with.
