Following the logic, if the actor suspects a bull run, they could trick traders to sell off and then load up their bags at cheaper prices only to still dump at convenient prices after or during the suspected price rally. This is crazy right ?😂

So, spoofing is the shady act of placing large visible orders on the order book to create price walls without the intention of allowing them to be filled in order to cause a false trend to trick other traders. This is scary right? That's not all, grab a cup of coffee please 😂

They would dump their bags and exit the market and all the traders who fell for the trap would incur losses as the ghost trend was never real but a trap. These actors do this with sophisticated algorithms and bots to ensure their orders never get triggered.

That's the trick right there, the actor does not intend to actually allow the orders to be filled, but to create the impression of an impending trend which you may call a 'ghost trend' Once retail traders start buying and successfully push the price to their target of $112,000,

They could manipulate the price to climb to say; $112,000 before dumping and to do this, they would create a price wall by placing visible large buy orders below the current market price at say, $109,500, to create the impression of demand at that level.

I am talking about spoofing, yes, that's the culprit in today's thread😂 It is a broad word for a type of crime that involves creating false impressions with the intention to deceive unsuspecting victims. It comes in different shades; email, IP and even spoofing in trading.
